The online platform www.kallxo.com is a joint project of the organisations Internews Kosova, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, NGO "LENS" and Anti Corruption Agency.
The project is financially supported by United Nations Development Programme, UNDP. The platform offers opportunities for all Kosovo citizens to report on corruption, fraud, conflict of interest as well as on other cases such as abuse of official position, negligence, endanger of human rights of Kosovo citizens or endanger of general interest.
The project is implemented by: Internews Kosova (I/KS) is non-governmental organisation, established in 1999 by local and international courageous team.
I/KS is an independent organisation and is member of Internews International. Main aim of I/KS is democracy development, support to civil society, development of independent media and professional journalism in Kosovo and in the region.
I/KS in co-operation with BIRN produce two weekly TV shows, “Life in Kosovo” and “Justice in Kosovo”. Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) is media organisation specialised in investigative journalism, monitoring of public services and televise broadcasting. For more than seven years, BIRN produces and broadcasts at Radio Television of Kosovo the current affair program “Life in Kosovo” and in the last two years the program “Justice in Kosovo”.
Also, for more than four years I/KS and BIRN monitor public services with focus on justice system.
Anti-Corruption Agency is independent institution established by Kosovo’s Assembly, among others, it initiates and conducts procedures of preliminary investigation in corruption and delivers criminal reports with suspected cases at competent public prosecution office, if for the similar case there has been no criminal procedure. It cooperates with local and international institutions with the mission of corruption prevention and fight, in cooperation with the Commission, government other institutions as well as with non-governmental institution.
The agency drafts strategies against corruption and action plan and monitors and supervises the implementation of the Strategy against corruption and action plan.
